Life Is What You Make It

There are times when I pray to the Lord:
"Please lead me where you want to take me....
Show me now the place where you are molding me to be into."
I know He has plans for us.
We are not in this world without a reason.

There are times when I feel I am in a limbo,
Not knowing where I am going.

Then I offer myself to the Lord
and tell Him:
"Your will be done!"

Love sometimes wants to do us a great favor: hold us upside down and shake all the nonsense out.
Your love
Should never be offered to the mouth of a stranger,
Only to someone who has the valor and daring
To cut pieces of their soul off with a knife
Then weave them into a blanket
To protect you.

Books by Paulo Coelho

I finished listening to the audiobook The Alchemist of Paulo Coelho.
It's a very inspiring story,
it encompasses ones' whole life.
I see my life in this book,
but generally it is actually the life every person goes thru.
I highly recommend this to young adults who just graduated in College or people who are having a hard time in finding their true meaning in life.
People who are looking for their Personal Legend.

Some great lines to remember in the book:

“When someone makes a decision, he is really diving into a strong current that will carry him to places he had never dreamed of when he first made the decision. “

“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

“It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.”

“When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”

“Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second’s encounter with God and with eternity.”

“All you have to do is contemplate a simple grain of sand, and you will see in it all the marvels of creation. Listen to your heart. It knows all things, because it came from the Soul of the World, and it will one day return there.”
