Hubby's Birthday

Last February 15 was hubby's 43rd Birthday,

I was on leave so we celebrated the day together.

We went out on a "Date".....

First we went for a massage at Banahaw Heals Spa at Tunasan, Muntinlupa City

It was our first time, so we don't know what to expect.

Hubby's built is muscled because he lifts weights almost everyday.

So, he wanted a heavy massage.

Good thing we were not disappointed by the service,

We both had women attendants but they were good.

The service was also cheap so we gave extra tip for their good service.

After the massage, we went to SM Tunasan to eat lunch,

It was almost 2pm so, we were hungry!

I bought the Chefbowl Honey Garlic Chicken of Chowking

and ate with him at KFC with his order of his favorite Two Piece Hot and Crispy KFC Chicken.

After lunch we went around the mall and outside too,

along the street of Muntinlupa.

We went inside the St. Peregrine Parish Church before going home.

All in all, it was a "Date to Remember"

My 40th Birthday

Yesterday was my 40th Birthday...

They say Life Begins at 40!
Well, maybe it does... not technically though
As a personal reflection,
I believe that when they say that life begins at 40...
It just means that at this point you have already gone thru a lot things in life...
Pains, happiness, sadness, anger, frustrations, hope, faith, depression,,,,
Feeling down then feeling hopeful again, the cycle continues...
Therefore you already know what life is all about...
And so you will be able to enjoy Life more from this time!!!

The day before my birthday, my friend Gie texted me hoping I would have a blast on my birthday.
I told her I hope so too, but unfortunately I don't have the resources (money)
Then later on in the day, hubby got his money (which we thought he'll get next week)
Blessings of all blessings!

So on my birthday yesterday, hubby prepared a Feast for me!
Hahaha,,, not really a feast but it was great and he did all the marketing...
We didn't invite anyone actually, it was just "if ever someone comes",,,
My sons' girlfriends were here in the morning,
Although my eldest daughter was at work, it was her first day with Anlene...
Then early evening my officemates came
And we went to Annielyns' house where I brought some pulutan to celebrate her new house too...
We stayed until 9:30pm there...

I went home and enjoyed the rest of the night with hubby,,,

Surely, Life Begins at Forty!!!

New Year's Resolutions

That's "resolutions" because I have several....
To start with the very classic:

• Lose more weight... I know, I know... Hehehe... 10 kilos of weight from 2010 to 2011 is not enough! Still need to lose some 5 kilos more....
• Second, be empowered! Don't slack... just do what I have to do! Time is short, life should be LIVED!
• Meet with old friends....
• Spend more time with the children, explore Philippines with them.
• Read more books,,,
• Write more.
• Be patient but persevere!!!!

Family Bonding

Last Wednesday I decided to take my Jan-jan and Najel for a date.
We met at the SM Mall of Asia after my meeting with some contacts at Rustan's Makati.
I was late, I got to them at seven in the evening already.
So we had dinner at KFC, since Jan-jan was craving for their Tower Burger....
Najel had the Fun Shots Snack Box plus their new Dessert.
Well, I had the Asian Salad.

After eating and some pictures, we went for some buys at the Hypermarket...
We had a great time going around and was tired afterwards.
I bought them two each a glass of Zagu....
Pictures again and off home we went!

Ultimate Flair Championship UFC

Last Friday we went to SM Mall of Asia to watch the UFC final elimination round.

Nikko was part of the dancing Team so we were obliged to watch it, since the next day is a Saturday I decided to make it a date for Me, Hubby, Leanne & Nikko.

Leanne arrived at the office about almost 1pm,,,

Then we left for SM MOA at 3:30pm, since the show was to start 4pm.

It was my first time to see this kind of competition,

And the competitors are just students!

They are from different Universities from around the country.

We enjoyed most was this girl from the University of Cebu.

She was the only girl and she was so great!

 We really enjoyed the night!

After the show, we were supposed to eat at Don Henrico's but it was already full of customers.

So we went for Chowking instead.

Family bonding is always a great time,,,,

Refreshes the soul and clears the mind.
