The Secret No More

I got this photo from the FB cover of my Coach Bam yesterday.
I just felt so connected because it encompasses everything that i feel and want to do in my life.

Life has been purposeful for me since i attended the Discovery and Breakthrough Seminars,
I am trying to incorporate my learnings into my life, until it becomes a part of me,

I learned that, after all my readings and seminars what was lacking was the Execution.
Putting my learnings into Practice,,,

Now, one day at a time i am slowly getting there
First, knowing what i really want
Then making it a daily habit
For things that i want and cannot have immediately, i make preparations,,,
Prepare with the things i have to do to get it (my goals and dreams)

I know this is a process that is not easy,
It needs patience and more of discipline,
But if i can do it one small piece at a time,
I know i can also make it BIG Time!!!

12 Laws of Karma

-THE GREAT LAW -
"As you sow, so shall you reap". This is also known as the "Law of Cause and Effect".
Whatever we put out in the Universe is what comes back to us.
If what we want is Happiness, Peace, Love, Friendship...Then we should BE Happy, Peaceful, Loving and a True Friend.

-THE LAW OF CREATION -
Life doesn't just HAPPEN, it requires our participation.
We are one with the Universe, both inside and out.
Whatever surrounds us gives us clues to our inner state.
BE yourself, and surround yourself with what you want to have present in your Life.

-THE LAW OF HUMILITY -
What you refuse to accept, will continue for you.
If what we see is an enemy, or someone with a character trait that we find to be negative,
then we ourselves are not focused on a higher level of existence.

-THE LAW OF GROWTH -
"Wherever you go, there you are".
For us to GROW in Spirit, it is we who must change - and not the people, places or things around us.
The only given we have in our lives is OURSELVES
and that is the only factor we have control over.
When we change who and what we are within our heart
our life follows suit and changes too.

-THE LAW OF RESPONSIBILITY -
Whenever there is something wrong in my life,
there is something wrong in me.
We mirror what surrounds us - and what surrounds us mirrors us; this is a Universal Truth.
We must take responsibility what is in our life.

-THE LAW OF CONNECTION -
Even if something we do seems inconsequential,
it is very important that it gets done as everything in the Universe is connected.
Each step leads to the next step, and so forth and so on.
Someone must do the initial work to get a job done.
Neither the first step nor the last are of greater significance,
As they were both needed to accomplish the task.
Past - Present - Future
They are all connected...

-THE LAW OF FOCUS -
You can not think of two things at the same time.
When our focus is on Spiritual Values, it is impossible for us to have lower thoughts such as greed or anger.

-THE LAW OF GIVING AND HOSPITALITY -
If you believe something to be true,
then sometime in your life
you will be called upon to demonstrate that particular truth.
Here is where we put what we CLAIM that we have learned,
into actual PRACTICE.

-THE LAW OF HERE AND NOW -
Looking backward to examine what was,
prevents us from being totally in the HERE AND NOW.
Old thoughts, old patterns of behavior, old dreams...
Prevent us from having new ones.

-THE LAW OF CHANGE -
History repeats itself until we learn the lessons that we need to change our path.

-THE LAW OF PATIENCE AND REWARD -
All Rewards require initial toil.Rewards of lasting value require patient and persistent toil.
True joy follows doing what we're suppose to be doing, and waiting for the reward to come in on it's own time.

-THE LAW OF SIGNIFICANCE AND INSPIRATION -
You get back from something whatever YOU have put into it.
The true value of something is a direct result of
the energy and intent that is put into it.

**** Just sharing something I found on my friends' wall on Facebook... very nice

Dream BIG

No one is too young to dream BIG, nor
Too Old to Dream BIG....

There is no time limit in starting a dream,
Whether you are 40, 50, 60 or 70...
You are the only one who can limit your capacity.

But once you decide to do something,
No matter your age,
No matter your current state,
No matter all the problems that may come your way,
You can start reaching for your DREAM!

Hubby is planning something Big....
And I know things may seem hard, or I know things will be hard
Especially on him....
But I told him that if he really wants this, then we, his family, will support him all the way.

This is his passion,
This is where his best comes out,
It will totally be a waste if he will not pursue it at this time....

I told him, don't let the problems you see now be a hindrance to your goal
But let it inspire you to fully utilize your abilities.

Struggles = Strength

Strength does not come from Winning,
Your Struggles develop your Strengths.
When you go through hardships and decide Not to Surrender,
that is STRENGTH!!!

I learned early on in life that this is true.
I lost my Papa when I was nine years old,,,
My Mama did her best to provide for us and make us a happy family.
And by God, she did a good job!!!

But our time together was short lived,
She died when I was Sixteen, barely a few days before my Seventeenth birthday....
That was the saddest birthday of my life,,,

From that time my journey began...
Struggles, sacrifices, depression, anxiety, uncertainty....
Not knowing what the future holds for me.

Deciding to have children as my inspiration was a good choice.
They became my strength and guide...
Never losing hope,,,
Always telling myself "This too Shall Pass".

And now, almost Twenty-Three years after my Mama died...
I could proudly tell her, "'Ma, you definitely did a good job in raising me!"
Our Struggles makes us Stronger every time,

Just like it did my Mama,
Just like it did Me....

Merry Christmas to ALL!!!

Books by Paulo Coelho

I finished listening to the audiobook The Alchemist of Paulo Coelho.
It's a very inspiring story,
it encompasses ones' whole life.
I see my life in this book,
but generally it is actually the life every person goes thru.
I highly recommend this to young adults who just graduated in College or people who are having a hard time in finding their true meaning in life.
People who are looking for their Personal Legend.

Some great lines to remember in the book:

“When someone makes a decision, he is really diving into a strong current that will carry him to places he had never dreamed of when he first made the decision. “

“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

“It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.”

“When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”

“Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second’s encounter with God and with eternity.”

“All you have to do is contemplate a simple grain of sand, and you will see in it all the marvels of creation. Listen to your heart. It knows all things, because it came from the Soul of the World, and it will one day return there.”

Waiting For the Right Time

There are things that are better left unsaid, knowing that it would hurt someone close to you,

Then you have to keep silent....

There are things that though you know how much you’d like to have, but are not really meant for you,

Then you have to let go...

Accept and appreciate whatever you have at the moment.

But never give up reaching for your dreams, one day all your efforts will turn out into something.

At times it may not be what you have been working for, but then eventually what comes to you is something better than you asked for.

In life, what you get is in direct proportion to what you have given...

Goals

Achieving goals by themselves will never make us happy in the long term;
it’s who you become,
as you overcome the obstacles necessary to achieve your goals,
that can give you the deepest and most long-lasting sense of fulfilment.

It doesn’t matter if you are eighteen or eighty – you’ll still need something to drive you forward.
